Binding of vol. 1 scratched with some loss of upper-leather, spines and headcaps of both vols. worn, but still a fine/good set. Avignon imprint of a very popular treatise on the secrets and methods of the applied arts. The first edition we could trace is from Nancy in 1721. The second volume is entirely devoted to the colouring of textiles; ' Le Teinturier Parfait''. Apart de quelques légères fautes à la reliure ceci est un bon exemplaire, impression d'Avignon. Le second volume s'appelle ''Le Teinturier Parfait''."
