Première et seule édition ancienne de cet album sur le parc de Yellowstone, le deuxième plus grand parc naturel des États-Uni. Il comprend 25 planches en photogravures d'après les photographies de Frank Jay Haynes. Photographe officiel du parc de 1883 à 1916, il publia un premier album en 1877, puis un second en 1891. Dans ce dernier, on trouve réprésenté des vues de l'entrée du parc, de l'hôtel et des terrasses de Mammot Hot Springs, du canyon de Golden Gate, de la grande chute, du canyon et du lac du Yellowstone, et de plusieurs sources chaudes et geyser dont une rare éruption de l'Excelsior Geyser. Bon exemplaire. Ex-libris Oscar Moulard gravé par Fumy. Petits frottements au cartonnage.
