Le Grand Prince Muley, assis et l'air plutôt triste, fumant une pipe, est protégé du soleil par un serviteur avec un parapluie ébouriffé et cassé. Signé dans la planche. imp. d'Aubert dans le coin inférieur droit avec un texte en français en dessous. La feuille mesure 35 cm x 26 cm sur carton rigide. Le Grand Prince Muley était Abd al-Rahman ibn Hisham, Sultan du Maroc. [Avec] (2) "Nouveau Parapluie" 1840. Publié dans la série Émotions Parisiennes (#33). Un homme émerge dans une averse avec son nouveau parapluie. Imprimé sur carton rigide. Signé dans la planche par Daumier, et en dessous imprimé Chez Bauger à gauche et imp. d'Aubert & Cie à droite. Texte en français ci-dessous sur le parapluie amélioré. Le titre (Émotions Parisiennes) n'a pas été correctement imprimé sur le bord supérieur, et seule une petite ligne apparaît. 33 cm x 24,5 cm. Les deux tirages sont en bon état, avec de légères rousseurs et un assombrissement des feuilles. Elles sont encore attrayantes.

Signed in the plate. imp. d'Aubert to the lower right corner with text in French below. The sheet is 35cm x 26cm on stiff card. Grand Prince Muley was Abd al-Rahman ibn Hisham, Sultan of Morocco. [Together with] (2) "Nouveau Parapluie" 1840. Published as part of the Émotions Parisiennes (#33) series. A man emerges into a downpour with his new umbrella. Printed to stiff card. Signed in the plate by Daumier, and below printed Chez Bauger to the left and imp. d'Aubert & Cie to to right. Text in French below about the improved umbrella. The title (Émotions Parisiennes) has not properly printed to the top edge, and just a feint line is showing. 33cm x 24.5cm. Both prints are in sound condition, with light foxing and darkening to the sheets. Still attractive. First edition. .
