Signé par Chopard au colophon, numéroté et également signé par l'éditeur. L'un des 115 exemplaires au total. Couverture imprimée brun clair, illustrée de 12 lithographies originales en pleine page et de vingt vignettes lithographiques de Gaston Albert Chopard. Cahiers non cousus placés dans une chemise en vélin d'éditeur et un dossier imprimé à grain de galets blanc, le tout logé dans une chemise d'éditeur assortie à dos en vélin et à grain de galets, ainsi qu'un étui. L'étui est en très bon état. Légers frottements sur le bord inférieur, mais globalement en bon état. Le dossier grainé est en très bon état, propre, avec seulement quelques légères marques. Le dos et le texte en vélin sont en excellent état, avec un léger noircissement. À l'intérieur, la couverture brune est dans un état exceptionnellement bon, sans déchirures ni marques, car elle a été protégée par une enveloppe en papier cristal opaque. Les pages de garde (bien que le livre soit en vrac dans ses plis !) sont légèrement noircies par contact avec la couverture. Le reste des pages est en excellent état et propre. Les illustrations (lithographies originales) ont été imprimées par E. Desjobert. pp. [4]. 152, [8]. 34 cm x 25 cm.

First edition. A lovely copy of this illustrated limited edition. Signed to the colophon by Chopard, numbered and also signed by the publisher. One of only 115 copies in total. Light brown printed wrappers, illustrated with 12 full-page original lithographs and twenty lithograph vignettes by Gaston Albert Chopard. Loose unsewn quires laid into a publisher's vellum and white pebbled-grain printed folder, housed in publisher's matching vellum-backed, pebbled-grained chemise and slipcase. The slipcase is in very good condition. A little rubbing to the bottom edge, but substantially sound. The grain folder is in very good clean condition, with just a couple of light marks. The vellum spine and text is in excellent state with fractional darkening. Inside, the brown wrapper is in unusually good condition, with no tears or marking, due to it having been protected with an opaque glassine wrapper. The end paper leaves (despite the book being loose in folds!) are a little darkened from contact with the wrapper. The rest of the leaves are in excellent clean condition.
