Certaines zones ont été retravaillées à la main à l'aquarelle et rehaussées d'argent. Cette uvre a été tirée à 850 exemplaires ; cette feuille provient de l'un des 50 exemplaires numérotés et imprimés sur papier fait main. Commandée à la Kunstanstalt Albert Frisch de Berlin. Légèrement collée sur un carton de support d'origine. En très bon état, avec seulement un léger jaunissement dû à l'âge. Larges marges, parfaites pour l'encadrement. Comme « Ballett und Pantomime » a été réalisé peu après la fin de la Première Guerre mondiale, Schnackenberg a attiré l'attention avec ses créations. Ses personnages et ses dessins montrent clairement que, à travers la danse et la pantomime, les gens avaient le sentiment de pouvoir retrouver le droit de se réjouir de la beauté du corps, des mouvements animés, des couleurs, des costumes et du spectacle. Areas hand finished with water colours, and highlighted with silver. This was printed in an edition of 850, with this plate taken from one of only 50 examples which were numbered and printed on handmade paper. Commissioned from Kunstanstalt Albert Frisch in Berlin. Lightly tipped on to original backing card. In very good condition, with just a little age toning. Wide margins, perfect for framing. WE HAVE OTHERS OF THIS SET. As Ballett und Pantomime was produced not long after the end of WW1, Schnackenberg attracted attention with his creations. His figures and drawings make it clear that in dance and pantomime, the people felt they could reclaim the right to rejoice in the beauty of the body, in animated movement, in colour, in costume, in performance.
