Paris, Imprimerie Félix Malteste, 1857, in-folio, 42 x 27 cm, title + (84) nn pp + 25 plates of which 20 in chromolithograpy, contemporary red half morocco, gilt decorations on front cover, orig. wrapper (preserved) and title printed with gilt lettering. The author, an architect and an artist, examines the decorative details of the Chapel in a series of fine chromolithographic plates printed by Lemercier.
