An inaugural lesson about Indian rubber, caoutchouc. (Catechin und Brenzcatechin). But the third and last thesis is; ""In primis graviditatis mensibus signa incerta, adeoque in posteribus dubia sunt.-"" On the verso of the title page, an Arabic proverb (in Latin), stating that ""whoever experiments, increases science, but who believes, increases error."" Konstantin Zwenger studied under Liebig in Marburg, he became professor in Kassel in 1844. This dissertation marks one of the important first steps in pharmaceutical chemistry in Germany.."
